MANAGING YOUR ACTIVE GIG

  • By the end of every Monday, we kindly ask that all timesheets (from the week prior) be verified and approved in Gusto. Vangst processes payroll first thing every Tuesday morning of every week for all hours worked the week prior (SUN-SAT). 


    In order to ensure that all workers are paid on time and correctly, all timesheets must be confirmed by 5:00 PM EST on Monday night atthe very latest. Any timesheet change/correction requests submitted AFTER Monday evening at 5:00 PM MST will be logged and applied to the following week's payroll. Any timesheet NOT approved by Monday at 5:00 PM EST will be automatically processed as is. Any corrections necessary will be made to the following week’s payroll.

  • The Vangst Help Desk works throughout the week to make sure that timesheets are as accurate as possible, checking them multiple times a day. If there appear to be any discrepancies in hours/punches, the Support Team reaches out to workers for confirmation or to make necessary edits. As the Timesheet Manager, with access to Gusto, we encourage that you also go in to correct/approve all hours prior to payroll processing.

  • If an incident occurs on-site resulting in a Worker’s Comp claim being filed, please be sure to contact the Help Desk right away with details about the issue. Additionally, please inform the employee to tell the doctor/care physician that the reason for the visit is a workers comp case. All employees should be listing Vangst as their employer.
