JOB SUMMARY

CORE JOB DUTIES

  • Responsible for growing sales within the sales territory.
  • Identify potential customers, initiate, and manage prospects through the sales pipeline, and close opportunities.
  • Responsible for the achievement of monthly revenue & profit goals, including setting individual customer targets and plans.
  • Responsible for managing customer relationships throughout the sales process, from ordering to credit memos, and documenting into company CRM.
  • Deliver on KPI's such as increased distribution, re-order rates, and successful new product launches.
  • Provide insight regarding outcomes of programs and promotions.
  • Work closely with national accounts and marketing partners to drive portfolio growth.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs, using excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and persuasive skills.
  • Monitor competition and market trends by gathering information on pricing, products, market presence, and other key factors.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's Degree; or relevant work experience.
  • 3-5+ years proven sales experience in cannabis, alcohol or pharmaceutical sales is preferred.
  • This position requires the candidate to be based in Michigan.
  • Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record and own transportation.
  • Ability to travel throughout assigned territory.
  • Highly motivated and performance driven with good time management and organizational skills.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
  • Must maintain a high level of integrity, personal motivation, and sense of urgency.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficiency with MS Office in a windows environment and familiar with sales tracking and reporting software (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
