Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Understanding of company and CCC regulations
- Ability to guide, train and supervise a Kitchen team of 5+ people
- Maintain a clean and organized Kitchen with proper inventory of all cannabis products
- Initiates and updates Kitchen training and SOPs
- Develop an employee-oriented culture that emphasizes continuous improvement, employee retention and development.
- Order production supplies and kitchen equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate production reports
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the facility
- Follow recipes and formulas for marijuana infused products
- Evaluate performance of the operation and make improvements to procedure or work practices to elevate the quality of products
- Coordinate with other teams to ensure compliance with the Department of Public Health
- Audit inventory regularly to ensure full compliance
- Create and maintain all product specification documents, recipes, formulas, and food safety plans
- Day to day management of kitchen area and team including production scheduling, execution, staffing, and capacity planning
Requirements
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Management experience within commercial kitchen or food production environment
- Degree in Food Science preferred
- Experience producing candies, chocolates, cookies, brownies, etc. (5+ years' preferred)
- METRC and Biotrack experience preferred
- Education in cannabis or infusions preferred
Computers and Technology
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (with advanced Excel skills including the ability to produce charts, graphs, and pivot tables)
- Utilizes a seed-to-sale tracking and inventory systems, preferably METRC and Biotrack
Schedule
- 40 hour work weeks: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (subject to change as business needs)
